It was just a fitting option for a quick weekend visit in Lyon with good value considering the price it charged. The staff were helpful in suggesting local eateries nearby, which made my meals enjoyable. Be ready for a workout. you need to climb several flights of stairs to reach your room.

du Theatre is a delightful experience if you love climbing five flights of stairs with heavy bags. the odd wood threshold nearly turned my leg into a trip hazard, and good luck trying to shower without dousing the bathroom. I expected complimentary water for my troubles but got nothing. I almost wanted to give a good review, but just couldn't.

The location is fantastic, just a quick walk to the river and the theater square. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is clean and adequate. It's a no-frills place that offers good value for the price.
The lack of an elevator means a strenuous climb with luggage, especially since there are about 40 stairs to reach reception.

The room was spacious and well-decorated, with new furniture offering a comfortable stay. The view over the pedestrian square added to the charm of the accommodation. The hotel's central location allowed easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. The staff were knowledgeable and provided helpful local dining recommendations. Overall, a very good price-to-quality ratio for a business trip.
No elevator access resulted in a significant amount of stairs to navigate.

Stairs challenge for heavy luggage, but great location.

Massive room with a queen-sized bed. Functional internet access.
The building's age shows with sloping floors and difficult-to-control showers. Heavy bags are a hassle to haul up the five flights of stairs, and the bathroom lacked adequate privacy due to the unusual design. No air conditioning made for a warm stay during the summer.

The excellent location made it easy to explore nearby attractions, and I had a fantastic view of the square from my room. However, navigating the numerous stairs without an elevator was challenging, and the shower design meant frequent spills. The lack of air conditioning also made warm nights somewhat uncomfortable.

Charming stay in central Lyon
Absolutely loved the central location near the theatre. My room was spacious with a fantastic view, and the breakfast was a delightful start to each day. The free WiFi was excellent, making planning my outings a breeze.
However, prepare for a workout with the numerous stairs—quite the climb without an elevator! I missed air conditioning during a few warm nights, making sleep a little uneasy.

With a stay at this hotel, you’re just a short walk from Lyon's Opera House, which was a highlight for the family. We enjoyed the nearby cafes and local shops. The staff was genuinely warm and accommodating, making us feel right at home.
My wife says that the lack of an elevator made it tough with our luggage after long days exploring.

would stay here again
I really liked the Superior Double Room. It was spacious and clean with a private bathroom, which had free toiletries, a shower, and a hairdryer. The flat-screen TV and soundproofing were great. The closet provided ample space for clothes. Located on a quiet street near good restaurants and shopping, it made my stay enjoyable.

Charming and characterful hotel with ample clean space and welcoming staff. The view of the theater from my room was a delightful bonus. However, prepare for a workout. it's quite the climb without an elevator. No air conditioning was a mild inconvenience during the hot days.
